MOBI Cam AV Internet Kit

The software makes it simple for anyone to monitor the camera’s video and audio feeds from anywhere in the world. Injecting new life into a juvenile market depleted of user-friendly, high-tech devices, MOBI will also showcase two new members of its TykeLight series and preview digital AV monitors that will also have Internet capability, an industry first.
“How exciting for parents and grandparents to be able to see and hear their loved ones from a remote location via a web browser or Windows’ based mobile phone,” says David Naghi, president of MOBI. Naghi explains that the simplified software will allow multiple users to remotely and simultaneously access the audio and video feeds thanks to a secure web link and password. “We strive to make family lives less stressful, and with the MobiCam AV and optional software kit, parents can rest easy knowing they are able to check on their children, elderly parents and even their pets.”
The MobiCam AV Internet Kit (MSRP: $69.95) includes the “MobiCam Anywhere“ software and USB adaptor that connects the receiver to one’s PC in a snap. “You won’t have to fumble with router or firewall configurations,” Naghi says. The software features a date and time stamp function; the ability to record directly to a PC based on motion detection or a set schedule; and offers instant email, text message and audio alarm notifications. The Internet kit is compatible with the popular MobiCam AV (MSRP: $129.95), a complete analog wireless audio and video monitoring system.
The output from the receiver allows you to connect MobiCam AV to your TV or DVR device. The powerful camera, which has a wireless signal (150 feet indoor/300 feet outdoor) and extra wide viewing angle is complemented by a stylish receiver that features a two inch ultra high resolution TFT color screen. Naghi adds, “Thanks to night vision, the monitors allow for viewing, even in total darkness.”
MOBI is releasing two exciting new products for its popular TykeLight series, of which the company has sold more than one million units since its introduction in late 2006. Not your traditional nightlight, TykeLight emits a non-distracting soft glow serving as the perfect nighttime buddy, travel companion, emergency light as well as providing an ambience for breast-feeding mothers or during nighttime diaper changes. The affordable TykeLight Jr. (MSRP: $9.99) is available in pink, blue or green and runs on three AAA batteries (included). Children are protected with the kid-proof battery door. With enough power to provide constant light for nearly 75 hours, TykeLight Jr. features three light modes including “Gentle Sleep,” as well as bright and dim light settings. BPA and Lead free TykeLight Jr. is made from the same impact resistant plastic as its predecessor, making it smooth, safe, durable and easy to clean. Naghi says, “Parents finally have the perfect answer to kids who ask to keep the light on during sleep time, and whoever is responsible for middle of the night infant feedings will appreciate the soft, ambient glow.”
